Ultra Potency MCT Oil for dogs, cats, and birds with Lauric Acid
TriPlex™ MCT-3 Oil is an effective MCT oil for dogs, cats, and birds. Our MCT oil is a unique blend of medium chain triglycerides (MCT) oil, with higher levels of Caprylic Acid and Capric Acid, PLUS Lauric Acid. Unlike other MCT oils, TriPlex MCT-3 is 100% pure and natural, thus retaining the smell and taste of fresh coconut oil. Other brands of MCT oils are refined and deodorized, and do not have the natural smell or taste of coconut. In addition to this, other brands do not contain Lauric Acid.
When consumed, MCTs are broken down into individual medium chain fatty acids. Due to its unique properties, MCTs are rapidly absorbed and highly digestible. Most of these medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) go directly to the liver where they are converted into ketones. Ketones are a high-potency fuel that can cross over the blood-brain barrier and nourish the brain.
Because the Caprylic and Capric acids in TriPlex MCT-3 oil is rapidly broken down and used as instant energy, it is highly beneficial for athletic dogs, sporting dogs, show dogs and any dog that needs an immediate energy boost. In addition to the Caprylic and Capric acids, the presence of Lauric Acid further reduces fatigue, and is perfect for older dogs or low-energy dogs that need more prolonged energy.
TriPlex™ MCT-3 Oil has a whopping 7000 mgs of Caprylic Acid, giving it powerful antifungal properties. It protects against yeast overgrowth, prevents and treats yeast infections, kills candida yeast cells (gut and skin), providing added digestive support and skin health.
TriPlex™ MCT-3 Oil, MCT oil for dogs, cats, and birds is highly stable and resists oxidation to protect cells from damaging free radicals.

We have a 16 year old beagle, with health and teeth issues. The vet says she is too old for sedation, so we need to let her live her best life for as long as she can. With CocoTherapy products and the MCT oil, she has become a puppy again. She plays with her toys, seeks out attention more often, and even engages her 15 year old sister beagle. Both dogs have shown improved mobility, less pain, and interest in many things such as toys and play which they have not done for years.
Yes, I recommend this product for your animals as well. Great product made with care for your pets.N
I give the triplex mct oil to my 2 older dogs. We love coco therapy. My dogs do well on the oils.J
This is such a multi use product, I am regularly finding new purposes for it. Originally I started purchasing it to feed to my Yorkies to improve cognitive skills. I used it as a water additive as I already use the coconut sprinkles in their food. I was so impressed with the results I saw in my Yorkies (dramatic improvements in their coats, gums, teeth, breath, and all-around health) that I started using it myself as I knew it was also safe and beneficial to humans. I know it is somewhat different than the solid coconut oil, but I like the ease of use that comes with the liquid, so I started using it in cooking, both as a cooking oil and as an ingredient in recipes. But I also use it on the ends of my hair which is almost waist length and dries out at the ends. I have a bottle in almost every room of the house. Recently I was out of makeup remover wipes so I thought, what the heck? I put some of the MCT oil on a cotton ball and used it to remove my eye makeup. Of course it worked beautifully, but a couple of unexpected benefits happened. I had an age spot and dry patch below my eye (which eye creams and moisturizers didn't help) that was becoming darker and larger. Almost immediately I noticed the dry patch had softened and after about 3 weeks I noticed the age spot had faded to almost invisible, but not only that, my eyebrows and eyelashes which had thinned with age were starting to fill in. I am just amazed at these new discoveries, they are so miraculous that the MCT oil could be marketed for these benefits alone. I tell everyone about all of the Cocotherapy products, especially the MCT oil.K
I would recommend this product as it is much easier to dispense into the doggy bowl than dealing with the hard coconut oil from a jar. I did lots of internet research and compared levels of the acids to other products. These have one of the higher levels per dose as compared to jarred coconut oil and other human products that I could find.
Background: As other reviewers mention, I started giving supplements with MCT oil in 2018 after my golden had a series of what looked like seizures. For 2.5 years, she had no seizures and when my original product was discontinued, I stopped the supplement and within 6-8 weeks, she had 2 seizures on consecutive days. After weaning off, Kepra and introducing MCT oil again from a jar (normal stuff you buy at the grocery store), it has now been 8 months since those seizures. I needed an easier product to dispense and these fit the bill along with my previous comment above.K
I love this company so much! They ship your order within a hour after ordering, it comes quick and very well packaged AND they send cute little samples of different things with your purchase! This MCT oil is AMAZING! Only thing I could say is to add some sort of a spout top so it doesn't run down the bottle every time you pour it. I will always order from this company highly recommend it!B
I have a 10-year old Golden Retriever who has struggled with skin allergies--this past year being the worst ever! After several courses of antibiotics to treat a skin infection caused by incessant scratching, he developed a terrible yeast infection that lasted for months, requiring injections and long courses of anti-fungal medications. My vet recommended Cytopoint injections to control the itching (@ $150.00 an injection) that must be given monthly. His hair began falling out after the second injection and he was not himself. I started him on the TriPlex MCT-3 oil a few months ago, along with probiotics, and it has been a miracle! His hair has grown back beautifully and his skin is now clear of the smelly yeast and the awful scabs...he is a different dog! Needless to say, he will have this "liquid gold" daily for the rest of his days, as will my 3 other dogs! Thank you, Cocotherapy, for this amazing product!V
About 2 years ago one of my dogs started having seizures and after ruling everything out it was discovered he had idopathic epilpesy. We were lucky with meds that his were 'controlled' and he'd 'just' have clusters every three months. After doing a lot of research I stumbled on MCT oil and the studies done in dogs who don't cluster...but I decided to try it anyway. After a year of seizing every three months, and they were getting steadily worse when he did seize, I put him on the MCT oil once a day. ...He went six months seizure free after starting it. I told myself it was probably a fluke, but his neurologist said it wasn't hurting anything and I was free to keep him on it. We're five months seizure free again and still going... I no longer believe it's a fluke. It looks very much like the MCT oil has helped us go longer between bouts!!
