Violet’s Fund for Financial Assistance for Vet bills

Every time you purchase Oscar Newman and CocoTherapy products, you are helping a pet owner pay for their pets medical bills.

VioletBeing animal lovers and having several fur-kids of our own, we know how it is to have unexpected veterinary bills. In Violet’s last year in life alone, she incurred mounting vet bills due to a serious illness.  Violet’s kitty sister Amanda-girl, also had unexpected bills due to bile duct cancer, which required surgery and post-op care.  So we know, despite the best of care, unexpected or critical veterinary care is unavoidable.

What is Violet's Friends in Need?
Violet's Friends in Need is a program created by Oscar Newman LLC to help pets and their owners by providing financial assistance for urgent or critical veterinary care.

Many pet parents are faced with vet bills that are too costly, and some may need to choose to end a pet's life prematurely, or surrender their pets due to lack of funds. Violet's Friends in Need offers financial assistance for urgent or critical veterinary care, surgeries, therapies or mobility solutions that are too costly for pet parents.

Is Violet's Friends in Need a non-profit 501(c)(3) program?
Launched in 2016, Violet's Friends in Need program is financed solely by Oscar Newman LLC and its brand company CocoTherapy. The program is a separate fund operated under Pets With Disabilities, our program’s sponsoring 501(c)(3) organization.

Violet's Friends in Need will be solely funded by proceeds from Oscar Newman and CocoTherapy products and will be supported by sales from the company, Oscar Newman LLC.

How does Violet's Friends in Need work?
Oscar Newman LLC will be solely responsible for selecting recipients of Violet’s fund. Every quarter, we will evaluate all eligible entries we receive via our Assistance Request Form. We will review every case and do due-diligence on each case. In some instances, we may require additional information and will contact the prospective recipient(s) as needed.

We will select recipient(s) every quarter to assist them with their veterinary bills, depending on fund availability and cost of treatment. Payment will be made directly to the veterinarian responsible for the treatment or care.

Which products help support the fund?
ALL Oscar Newman and CocoTherapy products are eligible to contribute to Violet’s fund.  A portion of proceeds from all product sales contributes to Violet’s fund. This means that every CocoTherapy or Oscar Newman product you purchase helps to grow Violet’s fund.
