Ultra Potency MCT Oil for dogs, cats, and birds with Lauric Acid

TriPlex™ MCT-3 Oil is an effective MCT oil for dogs, cats, and birds. Our MCT oil is a unique blend of medium chain triglycerides (MCT) oil, with higher levels of Caprylic Acid and Capric Acid, PLUS Lauric Acid.  Unlike other MCT oils, TriPlex MCT-3 is 100% pure and natural, thus retaining the smell and taste of fresh coconut oil.  Other brands of MCT oils are refined and deodorized, and do not have the natural smell or taste of coconut. In addition to this, other brands do not contain Lauric Acid.

When consumed, MCTs are broken down into individual medium chain fatty acids. Due to its unique properties, MCTs are rapidly absorbed and highly digestible.  Most of these medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) go directly to the liver where they are converted into ketones. Ketones are a high-potency fuel that can cross over the blood-brain barrier and nourish the brain.

Because the Caprylic and Capric acids in TriPlex MCT-3 oil is rapidly broken down and used as instant energy, it is highly beneficial for athletic dogs, sporting dogs, show dogs and any dog that needs an immediate energy boost.  In addition to the Caprylic and Capric acids, the presence of Lauric Acid further reduces fatigue, and is perfect for older dogs or low-energy dogs that need more prolonged energy.

TriPlex™ MCT-3 Oil has a whopping 7000 mgs of Caprylic Acid, giving it powerful antifungal properties. It protects against yeast overgrowth, prevents and treats yeast infections, kills candida yeast cells (gut and skin), providing added digestive support and skin health.

TriPlex™ MCT-3 Oil, MCT oil for dogs, cats, and birds is highly stable and resists oxidation to protect cells from damaging free radicals.

Our VCO and MCT oils are made from 100% certified-organic, Non-GMO verified coconuts. Since our products are unprocessed (100% natural, raw, unfiltered, without bleach, heat or chemicals) each batch will have slight variations. Based on spectrophotometer color measurements which checks the color and clarity of our coconut oils, the variations fall within the acceptable color/clarity tolerance required for the purest virgin coconut oils. This color variation is not a concern from a food safety aspect and the efficacy of the oils is not affected.

Great Quality

I am impressed with the quality, and the packaging! They added generous treat samples, too! I trust this brand, and am glad to support a small business.

Going well so far!

We recently switched from a C8 only MCT oil, based on recommendations from several other seizure-pup parents. TriPlex seems to be tolerated better, allowing a full dose without the gastro side effects. Too soon to determine how it is impacting seizure activity, but I’m hopeful! Also, I originally tried ordering from a 3rd party, and it was not packaged properly for shipping, so the bottle cap broke and the entire contents leaked…huge mess, and complete waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and order directly from! They know how to package it properly for shipping!

So far so good!

I have an epileptic dog and transitioned him from a different brand of MCT oil to the CT TriPlex MCT-3 oil because the previous brand only had 2, not 3 components. He loves the taste of the stuff (though he's not a terribly picky eater, so he's easy to please!).

I'm hesitant to remark on the efficacy of the TriPlex oil, since we've been trying to do better than a 3-week no-seizure streak and we're currently at a little over 4 weeks, which is a HUGE DEAL for us. But I chose the TriPlex oil because it contains Lauric acid, which was missing from the MCT oil I'd had my dog on previously. And so far, he's doing well on it.

I realize this probably doesn't seem like a stellar review, but living with an epileptic dog is an experience unlike no other. I move carefully when I give supplements and try to wait until I'm certain something works before I recommend it. Right now, I am very happy and cautiously optimistic. ("Cautiously optimistic" on me probably looks like confetti and a brass band on someone else.)

That all said, I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone struggling with an epileptic pet.

A bit too early to tell…

My Beagle mix was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy about 3 weeks ago. I’m hesitant of starting meds because of all the side effects I’ve read. I also read about the benefits of MCT on the brain and am hoping it helps my dog. I add it to his food and he hasn’t had any problems eating it. The only thing is when I went to open the bottle, the whole top of the glass completely broke off in my hand….I’m still able to use the oil, just had to use a different container. It’s too soon to see if the oil will help his seizures, but I’m going to keep using it, it certainly can’t hurt!

Love this stuff.

Not only do I love this product, i can easily add powdered supplements to it and my dog has no issues eating it! (At one o’clock)

Good and natural

I have 2 senior dogs. My 12yr old is diabetic and my 13yr old started going through some kind of dementia. My vet recommended your product. I mix it in their evening meal and they like it.

Sarah (Cherry Hill, NJ, US)

Just started it and seems to be going well!
